Community involvement

We’re privileged to be able to serve and support a number of fantastic projects and organisations across Basingstoke that serve the town in a variety of ways.  Below is some information about a few of them:

Basingstoke Foodbank

Basingstoke Foodbank is a project founded by local churches and community groups, working to tackle food poverty and hunger in our local area.  It is part of the Trussell Trust’s network of 428 Foodbanks across the UK providing emergency food for local people in crisis.

Street Pastors

Basingstoke Street Pastors was launched in July 2008.  Every Friday and Saturday night, from 10.30pm, teams of Street Pastors walk into the nightlife of Basingstoke to bring God’s love, particularly to young people enjoying a night out in the bars and nightclubs. There are opportunities to be involved as a Street Pastor out on the streets or as part of a team of Prayer Warriors supporting this ministry.
