Located in the book ‘Acts of the Apostles’ this series looks at the foundations of the church and stories of discipleship. We seek to explore how the first church expressed its new found identity as a Spirit-filled community of Jesus followers. What were the founding characteristics of the first church? What do they mean for us today in Hub Community Church as we seek to be a church with Mission, Diversity, Community and Transforming Society at our heart? We also look at the discipleship journeys of six characters from the book of Acts and ask how their stories of encounter, obedience and trust can help shape our own discipleship in Christ.
