Jesus Speaks Today
We live in a fractured, confusing, and broken world. As followers of Jesus, it can be hard to know what to say and how to respond. Our series this term draws from the life and teachings of Jesus to help inspire the church towards a hopeful, wise, and compassionate response to the challenges of our day. We believe Jesus Speaks Today.

Guest Speakers
We occasionally invite special guest speakers to our meetings from within and outside our wider church family to share from a different perspective on what God is doing in the nation or around the world.

Stand Firm - The Armour of God
The Armour of God passage in Ephesians chapter 6 is one of the more well-known passages of scripture in the Bible. Yet what is this armour of God? Who is it for? How do we ‘put on’ the armour? And, how does it protect us from the evil powers that the Apostle Paul speaks of? This Sunday series will explore these questions and more as we unpack the Armour of God!

Spiritual Formation
We are all becoming like somebody or something. For the Christian, our goal is following Jesus, being his apprentice, and becoming like him. This series introduces ten Spiritual Formation practices which can help us grow in our relationship with God, our community, and the world around us.

Romans
In this series we take a deep dive into the book of Romans. A letter which has been one of the most influential in the Bible, inspiring many over the years. Our prayer as we study this together is that we will become more confident in the gospel, in living it and sharing it with others.

God's story, many stories
In this series we share stories of inspiring people from the Bible and church history who have proclaimed the good news of Jesus in life and in words. As we connect these individual stories with our own lives, along with our values and vision in the Hub, our prayer is that we will find the courage to share our own story and make room for the Spirit of God to write new stories for us, and the church, as we follow Jesus together!

The Household of God
What does it look like to be the household, or family, of God? What picture does God paint in the Bible of what his church should be like? What should be our character be as God’s church today?

The Character of God
Our series on The Character of God uses Exodus 34, and God’s self-declaration of his character with Moses a Mount Sinai, as a launch pad to exploring the character attributes of God from stories across the Bible. Using stories from Israel’s scriptures (the Old Testament) and the New Testament, along with contemporary stories and testimonies, we trust that we’ll encounter Jesus and that the character of God might be shaped and refined in us through the Holy Spirit.

3 Dimensions of Christian Discipleship
An exploration of what it means to be a disciple of Jesus now.

Advent
As we prepare for Christmas we spend some time looking again at what advent means for us as Christians

The Church: Who are we? Our Christian heritage and identity in 1 Peter & Philippians’
This series focuses in on our identity as the Church of Christ and considers our Christian heritage through the eyes of the Apostle Paul in Philippians and Peter in 1 Peter. Throughout this series, we’ll be looking for our own story as Hub Community Church and also Basingstoke Community Churches to be drawn out.

Foundations of the Church & Stories of Discipleship
Located in the book ‘Acts of the Apostles’ this series looks at the foundations of the church and stories of discipleship. We seek to explore how the first church expressed its new found identity as a Spirit-filled community of Jesus followers. We also look at the discipleship journeys of six characters from the book of Acts and ask how their stories of encounter, obedience and trust can help shape our own discipleship in Christ .
